Monthly Flyout - Saturday, September 16

This month our flyout will be for a picnic lunch at the private airstrip/residence of our member Chuck Binzel. Plan on meeting at Chuck's between 11:30 and noon, and bring a folding chair and lots of stories. The chapter will be providing food and drinks.

Chucks airport is WI95, located at the west end of Kenosha airspace.  The runway is 2000 ft. turf, and has a N/S orientation. Contact Kenosha tower and inform them of your location and that you will be landing at WI95. Kenosha tower Frequency is 118.6, ATIS is 127.75.

Members Meeting, Lake In The Hills Airport - Tuesday, September 26

Our meeting will once again begin around 6 p.m. in the hangar, where burgers and all the fixings will be available, along with drinks. Feel free to bring a dish to pass. Voluntary cash donations are appreciated!

Board Meeting - Tuesday, October 3

The board meeting will be held at the Lake In The Hills airport office, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  All interested chapter members are welcome to attend.

Young Eagle Rally at Lake In The Hills - Saturday, October 7

Chapter members will once again be donating their time and aircraft to provide introductory aircraft rides. This will be our last rally for the 2017 season. All kids between the ages of 8 and 17  are eligible. Registration forms are available at the rally, and must be signed by the child's parent or legal guardian.

Registration begins at 8:00, and flights are normally conducted until noon.  As available slots tend to fill up quickly, an early arrival is suggested. 

Our ability to fly will be weather dependent.  You can check on the status of the rally by calling (847) 468-9437 on Friday evening.
