We'll be meeting in the airport office as usual, with burgers on the grill in the hour before the formal meeting begins at 7:00. Our speaker will be chapter member Pete Lind, who will make a presentation on the Osprey GP-4 kit airplane.
Chapter members will once again be donating their time and aircraft to provide introductory aircraft rides. All kids between the ages of 8 and 17 are eligible. Registration forms are available at the rally, and must be signed by the child's parent or legal guardian.
Registration begins at 8:00, and flights are normally conducted from 8:30 until noon. As available slots tend to fill up quickly, an early arrival is suggested.
Our ability to fly will be weather dependent. You can check on the status of the rally by calling (224) 484-7163 on Friday evening.

The board meeting will be held at the Lake In The Hills airport office, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All interested chapter members are welcome to attend.
Details for this event will be available shortly.
Chapter 790 is holding its annual all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast fund raiser, in conjunction with the Lake In The Hills Airport open house. We will be serving buttermilk pancakes (with/without blueberries), scrambled eggs (with/without cheese), sausage patties, coffee, juice and milk. Join our 50/50 raffle for a chance to win big $$$. Doors will be open between 8 a.m. and noon. Adults are $8, kids 12 and under are $4, and kids 4 and under are free. So come on out and enjoy breakfast in an aviation setting, say hello to some of our sponsors, and explore the services that LITH airport has to offer.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, the 23 for setup, and on Sunday during and after the breakfast event, so if you will be able to give us a hand, please contact Lon Danek at (847) 790-6286
We'll be meeting in the airport office as usual, with burgers on the grill in the hour before the formal meeting begins at 7:00. Our meeting this month will focus on youth in aviation, as we will be hosting a group of high school students (and their parents) so that we can introduce them to EAA and to our chapter. David Leiting, who is head of chapters for EAA, will join us from HQ. So come on out to share your own chapter and EAA experiences with the younger generation.
